However, one question remains, why wait 2 to 3 weeks for delivery?
We explain everything to you.

This is explained by all the steps necessary to create a unique piece of jewelry for you, unlike the classic jewelry that you can find in standard jewelry stores, your jewelry will go through many steps before arriving on your neck, here are the details:

DAY 1-2:
ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING OF THE ORDER

Once the order has been placed, it takes 2 to 3 days for administrative processing and sending of manufacturing instructions to the manufacturing workshop by our management agents, according to the criteria you have chosen for your jewelry.

DAY 3-4
COMPUTER DESIGN / DESIGN

Once the instructions are processed, the order is forwarded to the design office of our partner subcontracting company. There, engineers and graphic designers get to work using various software programs to design your jewelry according to the letters of the first name and the chosen writing style.
Once the design is done, it must then be modeled in 3D to have a first vision of the finalized jewel, and to ensure that everything is perfect.
Once the 3D design is complete, the drawing must be "translated" into vector language, this is the "language" that is understood by the so-called machining machines, in other words the cutting machines, which will cut your jewel from the steel plates according to the 3D model created by the engineers, with surgical precision.

DAY 5-6
CUTTING / CREATION

Once your jewelry has been "translated" into vector language, the file is sent to the machining technician, who will then choose the right machine, configure it, add the information about your jewelry and launch the cutting program, under their watchful eye.
Once the program is completed, the technician retrieves the jewel and ensures that the cut is 100% clean, retouches it if necessary, and ensures that the correspondence with the 3D model is correct.
Then he passes the part to the polishing workshop.

DAY 7-8
MULTI-POLISHING

That's it! Your jewelry already exists, in its raw form. Then comes the polishing stage: a polisher will choose the right material and polish it several times by hand. All this to achieve a 100% smooth and shiny finish, like a mirror. This step is crucial for the final appearance of the jewelry; it is this step that will allow your jewelry to have the magnificent reflections characteristic of Vivelavie jewelry.
Once the polishing is done, the polished jewel is sent to the Electroplating workshop.

DAY 9-10
ELECTROPLATING (OR BATHS)

Your jewel is now created and polished, all that remains is to fix the metal according to the color you have chosen: 18 carat gold, 925/1000 silver or even rose gold, the latter being a mixture of gold, nickel and bronze.
The electroplater (or bath-passer, in industrial jargon) places your jewelry along a long rod coated with a conductive material, then immerses the rod in a bath containing gold or silver ions (depending on the color) which will attach to the jewelry and give it its characteristic color. He calculates the time required and adjusts the concentration of the ion bath to obtain the perfect color.
This step is the riskiest, the color may not adhere well to the metal, there may be stains or waste in the bath that could pollute the part. Rarely, the part may simply detach from the rod and fall into the bath. In these rare cases, it is necessary to start again from the design office, and allow 1 more week of manufacturing.

DAY 11
ASSEMBLY / MOUNTING

Your piece of jewelry is now created, cut, polished, and boasts a sublime color. All that's left is to attach the chain, according to the length you chose when ordering.
A manufacturing operator selects the correct chain and attaches it to your jewelry. This operation is simple but still important; it ensures that the chain is securely attached and that the color of the chain and the jewelry match perfectly.

DAY 12
QUALITY CONTROL

Your piece of jewelry is now completely finished and just waiting to fit the shape of your neck.
The final step: Quality control technicians check that the jewelry matches the order, including the name, color, chain length, and font style. They inspect the piece under an electron microscope to ensure there are no remaining defects. If everything is in order, the piece will then leave the manufacturing workshop and head to the logistics department.

DAY 13-15
PACKAGING / SHIPPING

Your jewelry is now in the logistics warehouses, it will be taken care of by a logistics operator in order to be boxed according to your respective criteria, we always advise you to take the box, because otherwise there is a risk that the jewelry will be damaged during transport.
The packaging steps are as follows:
- canning
- packaging
- address labeling
- installation in trucks
- departure of trucks from the warehouse
Then, your freshly packaged jewelry leaves the warehouse to reach the international distribution platform.

DAY 15-21
ROUTING / DELIVERY

Your jewelry is now on the first truck that will take it to the general distribution center located in Liège, Belgium. There, your package will go through several stages:

- Receipt of goods
- Customs control
- Dispatch according to the destination country
- Installation in the plane
- Departure and landing of the plane
- Pick-up by La Poste
- Dispatch to the postal warehouses in the destination city
- The postman/delivery person loads your package for his daily round
- Delivery to your home

Your package will arrive at your home in 3 weeks (21 days)
Please note that in very rare cases (holidays, public holidays, strikes, manufacturing errors) the delivery time may be extended to 27 days. In these cases, you can contact customer service to obtain exclusive benefits on your next order as a gesture of good faith, in order to obtain your complete satisfaction.

NOTE: Once the tracking number is provided, the package is under the responsibility of the postal services, you are not eligible for reimbursement on personalized products in case of damage or loss by the carrier, you will have to contact them directly in case of dispute. However, thanks to our insurance loss and damage during transport included, we will be able to return the jewelry to you.
